Quotes

"With the HH-101A "CAESAR" the Italian Air Force will introduce into service the most advanced and capable aircraft available for this demanding operational requirement, developed and tailored to meet specific customer requirements ensuring a quantum leap forward in capability" Romiti said
"This short embarkation represents another major step forward of the integration of a vastly capable and complex aircraft into the Royal Navy, ensuring we remain at the forefront of anti-surface and sub-surface warfare" Stevenson said
Finmeccanica said in a 17 March statement: "Finmeccanica informs that today the Court of Milan - upholding the appeal lodged by its subsidiaries, AgustaWestland S p A and AgustaWestland International Ltd, seeking an emergency interim ruling on the resolution by the Indian Defence Ministry of the contract to supply 12 AW101 VVIP/VIP helicopters - confirmed the ruling issued last January 8, prohibiting, as a preventive measure, Deutsche Bank to pay the collateral of over EUR278 million deposited in relation to the contract."
The placement of the report online is as a direct result of instructions given by the new Minister for the Economy Pires de Lima who said that "nothing justifies this lack of information. Transparency in the management of public affairs, while always safeguarding the confidentiality of contracts, is to continue" even when the news is as dire as currently, it seems - he is to be congratulated
