Quotes

"I had a lot to learn from them," Coker said. "The biggest thing was the attitude of the coaching staff. They were focused and energetic and knew what they wanted to do."
"I like the school a lot, the history and stuff. They always have a good team. Coach Pitino is a great coach, and there's a lot of love in the city. I knew it was crazy, because I could just tell players like Russ Smith and Terry Rozier get love, so I knew it was going to be something like that" said Blakeney
...but I still think it lacks that real breakthrough win, never having gotten to a BCS bowl or beating a named team in a bowl game,'' Bennett said. "It probably makes people wonder just how good the program is overall. You look at the talent on the teams overall -- Maryland is a little bit on an uptick with guys like Stefon Diggs, Deon Long and a little bit more proven quarterback in C J Brown -- so I think there's a perception that they maybe have some more skill-position players coming into the Big Ten than Rutgers does."
