He is also the Chairman of the ABC (Arab Business Council) and the COMESA Business Council.Mr Gabr directs the activities of Artoc’s subsidiaries in Egypt, USA and Europe, within its six activities: Investment, Engineering & Infrastructure, Automotive, Consumer Products, Publications and International Operations. This diversified Group operates in the Middle East, Europe and the United States and in headquartered in Cairo, Egypt. Mr Gabr also serves on the Egypt- US President’s Council, he is also a member of the Executive Board of the International Chamber of Commerce (Paris), a Member of the Board of the Egyptian Center for Economics Studies (Cairo) and serves on the Council of the World Economic Forum (Geneva). Mr Gabr also serves as a Director on the Board of several Corporations in Egypt including the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries, (which supervises 17 major state owned industries).
