CV: 1939 While waiting for his high school examination results, he worked as a clerk in the Johor Rubber Regulation Department, Johor State Civil Service.1940 He entered the Raffles College, however, his education came to an abrupt stop in December 1941 when the Japanese invaded Malaysia during the world war.1945 After the war, he worked with the British Military Administration for a short period.
