Quotes

Said project manager Ian Cussons: "We are ready to mobilise all the necessary resources in the very near future. The tubular pile design will allow the water alongside to be dredged to 18 metres."
Birov said that instead of re-launching the Sillamäe-Kotka ship line that operated a few years ago, they should take a step forward. "Our dream is to have a triangle that connects Sillamäe, Kotka and Ust-Luga. It wouldn’t be important just for the town of Sillamäe and Ida-Virumaa, but for Estonia as a whole since it would create a new logistical bridge between Estonia, Finland and Russia."
Ian Cussons, VSBW Project Manager said: "We were delighted to secure the contract for the Berth 9 extension at Felixstowe and are ready to mobilise all the necessary resources in the very near future. The tubular pile design is very similar to the existing Berths 8 and 9 and will be built to allow the water alongside to be dredged to 18m depth."
"We are especially pleased with the exceptional seakeeping coupled with the hulls ability to carry additional deadweight with a minimal loss of speed, provided by Austal's fine entry Z-bow hull form."
