These companies have successful track records in delivering large infrastructure projects and are bringing considerable expertise and momentum to the process.”"
The first Southern Hemisphere Jazz arrived into the UK last week with the arrival of the Hansa Stockholm charter vessel into Bristol Port. "Laden with New Zealand Jazz we were delighted to welcome the vessel, Northern Hemisphere Jazz had literally just sold out and we made special arrangements for the immediate discharge of the vessel and deliveries of the fruit" explains Gary Harrison, Commercial Manager at Worldwide Fruit
Mark Robins, senior policy officer for RSPB said: "We have over the years seen numerous proposals for harnessing the power of the Severn, but they have all failed. They have failed because they have not taken into account the natural value of the estuary. And they have failed because they have not proven themselves economically."
"Get this right and we could set a new standard for energy infrastructure projects around the world."
