Quotes

"This is taking into account that most newly developed aircraft often come with teething problems which in some cases may never be rectified as in the case of EC-155 which became a failed model, worldwide, after all the fanfare associated with its coming into operation. And it is on record that Bristow made Nigeria the first test ground for EC-155"
A joint statement from Bristow Helicopters Ltd and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said: "We are aware of the consultation with staff, however no decisions about the future of the airport have yet been taken."
John Ponsonby , Senior Vice President, Customer Support & Training Services at AgustaWestland said, "This represents yet another significant event for the AW189 this year as the training service for this new platform is now available to our customers to support safe operations and crew readiness. This new AW189 training capability will be the first of several planned regional training services, utilizing the latest simulator technologies to provide operational and mission-specific training."
Mike Imlach, managing director of Bristow Helicopters Ltd, said: "The start of construction of our new base in Inverness is an important and exciting milestone for us as we work towards assuming responsibility for the delivery of UK SAR helicopter services next year."
