Quotes

"It is going to be a fun evening of wine, beer, food and entertainment" said Tippet
"We shot it at liquor store in Silver Lake (near where he lives)," Kiniry-Ostro said. "I went to the liquor store on the day after just having seen a friend's short. I wondered what I would write about robbing a liquor store: why would someone do that? Then I thought about a break-up. Why did she dump him? It was that he wasn't respected, so he did it (rob the store) to gain respect, not knowing she worked there."
"I was driven to create Broken Wing because I wanted to create a piece that looked at the East/West cultural conflict, but not from a position of right and wrong. I wanted to explore how two ways of thinking -- both well intended, can come together in destruction through a lack of understanding. In this piece there are no strict protagonists or antagonists, just a world of good intentions" said Ghaznavi
AH: Disney is a giant, powerful company, and having it as your friend is sort of like having a brontosaurus as a friend, which is to say, "Wow, it's cool. Look at my pet brontosaurus. It takes over the b lock. Its neck can stretch over and it can grab anything. It's also kind of big and dumb and might knock over my house or step on my arm. And I know it doesn't mean it. I know it loves me. It's just so damn big." [Laughs.]
