As such, the policy gives the right to manage foreign exchange settlement back to companies, helping them to avoid losses caused in exchange rate fluctuations."
Eratat's board responded then that this was "contrary to the understanding of the board, as the management has not reported any bank borrowings previously and there were also no such indications in prior bank confirmations obtained by the company's auditors"
"The traditional passive, one-dimensional measures of risk control cannot satisfy the sector's new requirements, because domestic banks are participating in the broader trend of becoming conglomerates and developing diversified, integrated operations during a time of national economic downturn and restructuring" Shang said. To adapt to the situation, he said the CBA must improve the sector's risk management practices
"The loan will help those with carbon dioxide obligations to activate their carbon assets, lowering the bar to access credit for small and medium-sized companies, and will ease the difficulties for those companies to finance energy saving and mitigation projects" the bank said in a press release
