Quotes

Martin, a retired county archivist who compiled the county's history in her book "Shenandoah County," said Heritage Day "has grown from just plain genealogy to heritage of the community."
"One of the things I have noticed is when I go out and speak to various community groups and explain about heroin and why it's so dangerous, we would tell people to be on the lookout but we never told them what to look for" Wiseley said
"That's what got us talking," David St. Clair said. "I'll bet any money if we just made some beer, these guys would come out every other weekend and bring the families to pick berries."
