...In regards to joining C-TPAT and ISA, CBP explains that "this approach will enable CBP to provide additional incentives to participating low-risk partners, while benefiting from the added efficiencies of managing supply chain and trade compliance within one partnership program."
In the notice, CPSC explains that Section 14(a) of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) requires that "manufacturers and private labelers of children’s products subject to a children’s product safety rule certify such products as compliant based on testing conducted by a third party conformity assessment body, and that manufacturers and private labelers of regulated non-children’s products certify compliance based on a test of each product, or on a reasonable testing program. Section 14(g) of the CPSA states requirements for certificate content."
The release explains that "The Treaty creates a framework for the transfer of eligible defense goods, services and technology between approved entities in Australia and the United States, known as the Approved Community, without the need to apply for separate export licenses."
The notice explains that "The US-Panama TPA provides a list in Annex 3.25 for fabrics, yarns, and fibers that the United States has determined are not available in commercial quantities in a timely manner from producers in the United States or Panama." In the notice, CITA is setting forth procedures for processing requests to add fabrics, yarns, or fibers not readily available in commercial quantities...
