Quotes

"Time spent person-to-person with our customers is an essential piece of what we do to promote North Dakota soybeans," said Sinner. "We really appreciate our soybean farmers taking time out of their busy harvest season to visit with our trade delegation and talk about their farming operations. For many of our guests from overseas, this is their first time on a farm, so getting to know our farmers one-to-one is invaluable for our industry."
"We make important and costly decisions based on the results of these soil samples and this has been one area of precision agriculture that wasn't precise. Our objective was to add precision back to it and I'm comfortable that we've made great strides with that" he concluded
"Why incorporate the compost?" he asked those at the field day. "That's what your worms' job is. And if you do your spreading job properly, you aren't covering the ground with a several inches layer of compost. Instead, you are going to create a layer of fertilizer out there that both micro-organisms and your worms can do. Your worms should be doing your tillage out there for you. So composting works really well for a no-till operation."
"Well if that's the hurdle we're already there, because ag has done nothing but change since its inception" he said
