...and local councils should be making decisions on many gun matters, and the amendment should be rewritten, adding just five words to fix it: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms 'when serving in the Militia' shall not be infringed."
"’Spring Extravaganza’ is not a dress up prom or costume party,” said Bernadette Hattjar, Dr. OT, OTR/L, assistant professor in Gannon’s occupational therapy programs and the PTE chapter’s faculty advisor. “It's something special for a group of individuals who would otherwise not have the opportunity to go to something this big that was just for them.”"
The Fair, entitled "Join Us for A Roadtrip,” will be held in the nursing facility at 2120B E 10th St.from 4-7 p.m. and will feature a bounce castle for kids and tables staffed by senior nursing students from Gannon’s Promoting Healthy Communities class on interactive programs that teach health and safety to children and families. The tables include “Stranger Danger,” “Don't Be InTEXTicated” (driving safety), a booth addressing prevention of domestic violence, a board game to help prevent animal bites"
"It's fun. It's not difficult to do. Almost everybody can get out and walk, whether it's just around the block or whether it's on a trail. We definitely have no shortage of trails in Erie county that people can walk on" said Amanda Harkness.  Harkness chairs the event and is a Public Health Educator at the Erie County Health Department
