Together we make a really good team. "If you met us all separately, you'd never think we were in the same band," Andrew said. "I'm kind of an extravert, but I'm not precious. I like making friends. "Craig is a bit more quiet and reserved. "Patty is kind of like me - we like to have a bit of fun and Zac, the baby, is one in a million." Andrew describes the almost 22-year-old lead guitarist in the most humbling manner. "Zac has just got such musical maturity," he said. "Together we make a really good team." Andrew said their music is hard to classify. "It's a little bit of Red Hot Chili Peppers / little bit of AC DC / Guns N Roses. "The way the vocals slow and push the beat of the music, we get compared to the Red Hot Chili Peppers." Andrew says it's nice to be compared to such a prominent, celebrated band. "I'm a fan of Chili Peppers. They're definitely an influence to my style of writing." We're pretty close now. Everyone has heard the single in the industry. As for JAK's music, Andrew describes their style with passion in his voice. "We got these guitars battling for supremacy. You can hear it in the album." Though the band's music is starting to turn heads in the industry, three out of the four of the members, still have full-time day jobs. "It's sort of getting really difficult to manage now because it's getting really busy on the band side of things." But luckily, the group seems to have supportive employers. "They want to see our visions come to fruition. "You try to explain to your boss, hey listen, on Tuesday I'm going to need two hours off for press interviews," Andrew laughs. Soon the band is hoping their gig will take them on a full-time adventure. "We're pretty close now. Everyone has heard the single in the industry," Andrew said. "They're saying it's going to go really well, but we'll see. "We're finishing up the video clip this weekend." For now, JAK have their eyes set on the stage and upcoming tour. "We go the extra mile. It's a show band - we love to entertain people." Even to the younger crowd, JAK tends to targets a variety of ages. "In the younger crowd, their eyes are as big as saucers and they're just grinning from ear to ear. "You get the older boys loving the loud guitars all in front of the stage having a great time and right next to them is the younger age group." The band Event details"
