"Our projections show that further debt relief will be needed for Europe to meet its commitment to reduce Greek debt significantly to the program level" IMF spokesman Gerry Rice said
Christopher Mesnooh, a lawyer not connected to the case from Field Fisher Waterhouse in Paris, said: "What she is being criticised for today is taking the disputes between the bank, Mr. Tapie and the French state out of the national court system and submitting them to three private arbitrators, who decided basically behind closed doors how to resolve the dispute."
In her observations Kabedi-Mbuyi said, "Real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is projected to grow at 13% in 2013. Consumer price inflation declined from 16.9% in 2011, to 12% in 2012, aided by prudent monetary policy and stable exchange rate. It is forecast to decline further in 2013. Sierra Leone's external position improved in 2012, strengthening the reserve coverage."
"However, economic uncertainty and subdued confidence continues to determine borrowing behaviour, with households and businesses reducing borrowing and building up deposits where possible."
