...this even more ironic is that our own Constitution contains a Presumption of Innocence insection 35(3)(h) of the Bill of Rights which states that "Every accused person has a right to a fair trial, which includes the right to be presumed innocent, to remain silent, and not to testify during the proceedings."
The San Francisco-based group, which campaigns for prisoner rights and the reform of China's justice system, said it had obtained the data from "a judicial official with access to the number of executions carried out each year."
"Don has shown time after time that he is on the extreme right wing of his party; this is not a senator who represents all of us. It's a vote that would have made us all less safe if he got his way" Leahy said
He told The Local: "The extensive investigation in Mannheim, led by experienced detectives, came to the conclusion that Matthew Fitzpatrick committed suicide. There has been no substantial suspicion of criminal involvement by anyone."
