"The MO-RTC is Maersk Oil 's first global research centre. We're conducting extensive studies in improved and enhanced oil recovery and are focussed on applying our experience, expertise and extensive knowledge of the Al Shaheen field - all factors that have successfully enabled the recovery of over 1.4 billion barrels of oil from the field to date. We are already operating one of the world's largest offshore water-flood operations in the Al Shaheen field and we are running the first phase of the largest offshore water alternating gas (WAG) EOR injection project in Qatar, so we have a great foundation on which to build" says Abdulrahman Al Emadi, Head of the MO-RTC
Anna-Elise Oosterhuis, a senior consultant at Percepti, said: "I was impressed by how the group responded during the workshops. We discussed the values of Maersk Oil Qatar as a company and its expectations of leaders."
