In an email announcing the resolution sent to faculty Tuesday afternoon, Manoa Faculty Senate Chair Ron Bontekoe said that the faculty have found "the Chancellor's performance over the last two years to have been exemplary."
In a statement, Lassner said: "Experience teaches that personnel issues are best addressed in private, and when a change in leadership is necessary, it is best accomplished with as much dignity as the circumstances permit."
