Despite the browsing tendencies of tablet users, findings from " Tablet Banking Series: Are you making the most of the tablet opportunity? ', a Mapa Insight Series report, show that very few banks offer product information pre-login or let users apply for products via the tablet app. However, a best-in-class example is demonstrated in the first update with USAA's (US) revamped application journeys for products including Auto Loans and Life Insurance, demonstrating their commitment to improving all aspects of their multi-channel offering. Added design elements such as a progress checker within an application also results in higher customer engagement and completion rates. USAA also invite users to participate in a survey to give their opinion on the auto-loan application experience via the tablet channel; they are one of the few banks leading the sales and monetisation area."
