The Director-in-General, Department of Geology and Mining of CNNC Mr Du Yunbin stated: "I do believe, through the investment in the Langer Heinrich project, CNNC and Paladin will develop a long-lasting business relationship which is beneficial to each other and also bring long-term influence to the global uraniumuranium mining industry. We treasure this valuable business opportunity with Paladin. After completion the strengths of CNNC and Paladin will continue to focus on production optimisation to ensure future cost reductions."
Anyway, rant over, the proceeds will pay for "acceleration and continued development of the portfolio to maintain strategic advantage and mature assets for drilling" , in Brazil and the other $7.5m will go into a new venture which we don't know about yet but is in an existing country...
The First Lady asked African governments to make improvements in the health of women a priority, indicating that "we can only come together and demonstrate a shared responsibility towards ensuring that all women have access to effective and affordable screening and treatment of the cancer diseases"
The Deputy Director of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),  Mr Kwaku Aning,  in his presentation on "Moving beyond shadows shining a light on Africa fight against cancer" , said there were lots of myths surrounding cancer, including perceptions that cancer was not curable
