"I think they have muddied the water terribly. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence is clear that HIV positive men who are receiving treatment have a low risk of transmission so wouldn’t normally receive IVF. These criteria look like an attempt to appear to be providing treatment when in fact almost no one would qualify for it" she said
A spokesman for West Middlesex University Hospital trust said: "Over the past 6 years the Trust has delivered in excess of £45m of savings of which procurement savings have been an integral part.
