"The issue at the moment is the amounts [of fly ash] fall within the allowable limits of the industrial approval and much like other processes we can't go and issue orders, and the minister of the environment can't go issue orders, that are outside of that approval. But he has committed that they are already looking at that and I committed that I would work with Nova Scotia Power on what their timelines are and I am doing that" he said

"We have a contract coming up for negotiation in March, and we are very determined to stay strong and protect what we've gained to the best of our ability. Fortunately, they were willing to hear most of our concerns."
