...and Chairperson Industrial Global Union, Africa Region, Comrade Issa Aremu, noted International Labour Organisation, ILO, statistics indicated that "one worker dies every 15 seconds worldwide, 6000 workers die every day and more than two million workers die annually as a result of work related accidents and diseases."
Comrade Ogun noted that the omission of PEF in the staff transfer in the PIB may be intentional, saying, "In the interest of industrial peace and harmony in the oil and gas industry, workers in the current PEF should be captured under staff transfer in the bill."
