Quotes

Reacting to media reports quoting him as absolving Jang of blame over crisis in the state, Hassan said, "For me to exonerate the governor is not possible. I cannot exonerate myself, talk less of the governor."
"Since last year we have seen a situation where the Department of State acted as ransom-demander for the Boko Haram terror group, first in refusing to designate them a terror group and secondly in claiming they are economically motivated and therefore more money should be provided to the Muslim Northern Nigeria" said Ogebe in a statement to The Christian Post
Mwansat who described the omission as an insult to the people of Plateau State said "are we saying that out of the 120 names, no Plateau person was found worthy to be appointed a member of council? I think that is an insult. We are not talking of even the Chairman of a council because by whatever rating, you can never rate Plateau state as one of the educationally backward states in Nigeria."
