Speaking with this correspondent, this evening the Chief General Manager (CGM) of BSNL, Port Blair, Mr VV Raju assured saying, "About 70-80% of the bandwidth has been restored through INSAT-3 C, the only other satellite available for the BSNL services here, and internal arrangements to divert necessary bandwidth from the other satellites available to the Indian mainland are being made on a war footing. We hope to restore normalcy in our services here in a day or two."
