Quotes

"For a developing country such as Fiji, survival rates are poor which basically makes awareness programs very crucial to make a living difference. It is my humble plea for all our women in the country to come forward and to be screened for any sign of breast cancer."
"I join this community in expressing gratitude towards SI Lautoka and associated partners for this worthy and timely project."
"Breast cancer cases continue to increase especially to those who are above 30 years of age and this make sour fight more important as we are dealing with women in child-bearing ages that have young families. For young women to face this in life is intolerable as it affects spouses and children as well."
The committee,  started in 2011, has 59 groups in both blocks. A sum of ` "18 lakh had been given to the VPRC in two installments as project funds. Around 506 members have been benefited through the funds. The project takes care of the livelihood of women, youth and differently-abled, who have formed self-help groups."
