In a bid to help ease the liquidity draught, the People's Bank of C hina (PBOC), China's central bank, injected net funds into the banking system by conducting mild open market operations on Tuesday. "The market fell in a downward correction after gaining for three straight days," said Shenyin & Wanguo Securities. "The index is likely to fluctuate around the 2,300 level in a short term."
