"We're going to have a lot of company on the roads" said Mary Maguire, Massachusetts spokeswoman for AAA of Southern New England
"My number one goal from the beginning has been to make consumers aware of these products in the marketplace. Overall consumers are not aware that they can purchase a brand new lifted truck, or have one custom built, and still receive the full warranty, along with rebates and incentives. Despite being in the marketplace for over a decade, the New Lifted Truck Market is still in its infancy. This situation allows for massive growth opportunity, and I estimate that the market penetration of these products could be as much as 5% of the new truck market. That represents almost $1B"
"Because upfitters have relied on the dealer to promote their products, the overall consumer awareness of the New Lifted Truck Market (NLTM) is almost non-existent. Dealers will not put money or effort behind something that only makes up a very small percentage of their overall inventory. Despite being in the marketplace for over a decade, the NLTM is still in its infancy. This situation allows for massive growth opportunity for the NLTM. I estimate that the market penetration of these products could be as much as 5% of the new truck market. That represents almost $1B in revenue growth for the NLTM. The key is making consumers aware these products exist in the marketplace."
"The body was recovered a short distance downstream from Saccarappa Falls where he had last been seen," Nugent reported in a brief update. "Westbrook Police, Fire and Rescue units were assisted by units from the Maine State Police, the Maine Warden Service, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office and the Standish, Gorham and Scarborough Fire Departments. The matter remains under investigation."
