Quotes

"In early 2015 we will be starting a trial with methanol as a fuel on one of our ferries," says Mr. Hagman. "At the same time we are investigating scrubber technologies and also looking at LNG as a fuel. Naturally, converting and rebuilding our ferries will both take time and cost a lot of money."
Dean Holmes, Sport and Play Development Officer added, "I would like to thank all involved in making the event such a success and without whose support the event could not have happened. This includes Stena Line for their continued support, PSNI for their help and support during and in the build upup to the event, and local clubs such as Mossley Hockey Club, FC Whiteabbey and the Newtownabbey Racers who assisted with stewarding. I'd also like to thank ChampionChip Ireland for timing the event, K & L Catering, Triathlon Ireland, staff at Valley Leisure Centre and the on call events staff."
It was a gruelling journey by any standards for the 57-year-old Liberties native, who said in his Irish Runner interview of four years ago: "The World Jog is not something thought up overnight over a few pints. It has been incubating in my mind for 20 years and has grown into an absolute monster. I feel like I am a prisoner of this idea and ambition."
"A lot of don't-knows and some Nos are moving to Yes," he says. Only tribalism is keeping some Labour voters onside with No, he argues. "But that has broken down in the last month or so. It has broken down quite rapidly."
