On Thursday, President Obama signed an order allowed reservists to be called into active duty to support the Ebola effort. "The authorities that have been invoked will ensure the Department of Defense can properly sustain the military operations required in this effort" Obama said in a letter to House Speaker John Boehner
"These children must not be allowed to become liabilities on the Liberian society in the future," Boakai said, "and therefore we must establish the means of intervention now."
She gave the assurance that they (donors) know where the money goes and to whom it goes. "This (fund) is not for risk benefits but for salaries of health workers directly involved with the Ebola fight, the ambassador repeated, clarifying that Risk benefit payment is being arranged by the Government of Liberia and the U S is not involved with it."
..."I'm blown away by what they are doing. I was here about three weeks ago and we had grass; there was nothing here," he says beaming with smiles. "Two weeks after I come here; to see this, I'm blown away. In every operation we talk about the ends, ways and means."
