'I didn't expect him to do so well really,' said Paddy. "I'm only about two years breeding, so I'm still learning. There's a fair bit of work involved, but my sons Patrick and Cathal give me a hand leading and getting him ready in the build-up to the shows and we were delighted to win it. To win his own class was a massive achievement, but to win the overall award was something else. He's a good animal though and hopefully this will get my name out there that bit more as a breeder."
The An Taisce surveyors reported: "A great result for Tullamore, which has established itself as one of the cleanest towns in the country. It had eight top ranking sites."
"Then there were waiting lists, waiting lists for speech and language therapy and OT, everything. Everyone in the baby group I went to said that the only way you are going to get seen is if you ring up every day."
